High school graduation/GED or equivalent work experience
Valid Commercial Driver’s License & good driving record, preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stoop, bend, twist
Knowledge/ ability to conduct thorough truck inspection including but not limited to inspecting /testing / repairing equipment, electrical systems, controls & other parts
Ability to apply repair time knowledge
Ability to operate forklift & other machinery safely
Excellent organizational, scheduling, & communication skills (including phone skills)
Excellent customer /shop service / commitment
Ability to effectively coordinate customer service with service manager
Ability to control inventory & order supplies
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to read / understand books / catalogs/ diagrams & apply knowledge of mechanical principals
Post-offer physical examination, drug test, and Functional Capacity Exam required as condition of employment
