I T P has been named national winner in the prestigious 2002 Distributor of the Year competition.

Sponsored by Truck Parts & Service magazine, the award is made annually to the nations's top supplier to the heavy-duty trucking industry, which sells through independent channels. Inland was selected from among five finalists out of an initial 5000 distributors and a second round of 71 entries.

October 21, 2002

Inland Truck Parts Company, Overland Park, Kansas, is pleased to announce the opening of a new state-of-the-art parts and service facility located at 2339 East Grauwyler Road, Irving TX 75061-3313. This new 85,000 square foot facility with 45 service bays is now open for business and allows us to greatly enhance both our parts and service capabilities to the Dallas metropolitan area. This new location consolidates the Inland Truck Parts previously located at 3170 Irving Blvd, Dallas, as well as three Industrial Automatic Tranmission Service locations (508 N. Loop 12, Irving, 2340 Hinton Drive, Irving, and 2700 Oakland Ave., Garland).

June 1, 2001

Inland Truck Parts Company, Overland Park, Kansas, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Airtronics Remanufacturing Division (ARD), in Garland, Texas. ARD, an Allison transmission dealer, affords the expertise and technical knowledge to grow ITP's automated transmission market.

In July, ARD will become a part of Industrial Automatic Transmission Service division (IATS) of Irving and Gainesville, Texas, also an Allison dealer. This venture promotes Inland Truck Parts Company's ability to sell and service new and remanufactured Allison and "New World Allison" transmissions for medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
